Fallout 4 Adoption Mod
Without spoiling too much, i'm just going to say that the player charcter in Fallout 4 may have motivations to start a new family, with a new spouce and new children. If you ask me, bethesda has already set up everything perfectly for a system of raising children in Fallout 4. The game already lets you build settlements, romance companions, and models for babies so the posibility for the Sole Survivor to move on and have more children just seems natural. It's probably what Nate/Nora would want after all. Here are my thoughts on how this could work.Marriage- If you fall in love with a companion, you can marry him or her. You will want to give them a wedding ring to show your commitment.
The ring you took from Nate/Nora will work perfectly (I'm sure they would understand). If you have lost/sold your old wedding rings, you can get new ones from various sources. A remarried Sole Survivor will be giving a powerfull new perk.
A married companion will also fight harder in battle. Lastly, a spouse will take a more active roll in their child's life, should you 2 have any children together.Childbirth- if you have sex with a human companion of the oposite gender, a baby may be born. In order for childbirth to happen, you must have a settlement with a baby crib, and someone assined to it. You can only have 1 baby at a time, to have a 2nd, you must advance time in the game (more on that later). The settlers owe you for setting up their settlements, so they are more than happy to watch your children for you.
If your not comfortable with this, a married companion will happily watch your child. Note that life is tough out in the wastland, so no one will care if you have a child out of wedlock.Adoption- Just like in Skyrim, there are many children who have been orphaned by the many hardships and dangers of the wasteland. If you speak to these children, you can offer to adopt them and send them to any of your settlements that has enough space.Growing up- once you have completed the main campain, you unlock the ability to spend time with your children. Simply speak to any of your children, and say 'It's time we spent more time together'.

The game will then pause and inform you that you are about to spend the next 4 years away from your adventures. Say yes, and the game will advance 4 years, causing all your children to age.
At age 4, 8, and 12, children will use the child model. At age 16, your child will be considered an adult and can now follow you on your adventures. Orphans are always 8 years old when adopted.

You can spend up to 20 years with your family before this ability is removed.Child's fighting style- Biological children will devolop a fighting style based on how you raised them (eg: giving them a BB Gun will improve their skills with rifles as an adult) while adopted orphans have a set style they always grow into.So what do you think? Is it time for the Sole Survivor to move on with his/her life and start a new family?

Piper is a renegade journalist operating in Diamond City, one whose tenacity and penchant for publishing the unfiltered truth often gets her in trouble with her fellow citizens. The player will meet Piper outside the gates of the town, either alone or with Mayor McDonough, depending on whether they've already met Nick Valentine. To gain Piper as a companion, visit her office after first meeting her and agree to an interview. This will start the very short 'Story of the Century' quest. After you complete the interview, she will be available as a companion. Piper's General AffinityMeeting Piper after arriving in Diamond City.As an investigative journalist, Piper is a moral person, but she's also a bit of a hothead. She values generosity and peacefulness, tolerates meanness, but hates greed and violence. When Piper is your companion, choose generous, mean dialogue choices or those that de-escalate a situation.
Avoid those that are selfish (such as asking for a higher reward) or that might lead to a fight. Stealing or pickpocketing should be avoided while Piper is around, as she disapproves of both.Below we've listed a variety of specific, repeatable actions that will improve your relationship with Piper, as well as those that will hurt it.
