Custom American Girl Doll Eyes
You must be an adult AG collector or own the doll,2. Do it at your own risk - customised AG dolls will not be accepted by AG hospital for repairs3.
Be prepared to burn your fingers,4. Be prepared to potentially ruin the doll's eyes in your first-ever swap so don't practise on your most beloved doll / use TLC doll to learn!!! Saints row 2 mall.
Also, Addy and Jess molds are the hardest to eye swap so practice on Classic or Josefina mold first.5. Watch lots of tutorials & join if you need any further help, as I can't help directly - whilst I've done a few eye swaps myself, I'm not a professional doll eye-swapper, but hope this video helps in some way:D6. Vinyl hardness may vary depending on the age of the doll.
New American Girl Doll Eyes
Some are soft just after 1 minute of heating, some require longer/multiple reheatsAs an overseas AG fan, I had to learn this eye swapping skill to be able to fix and customise my dolls myself. A big thank you to +dollsandem a for a fantastic video tutorial that inspired me and encouraged me to learn this skill - now that I caught the customisation bug, I can't stop eye swapping my dolls:) But more importantly, I can finally make a 'Sonali' doll since she's way too expensive to buy and I desperately miss her in my collection!P.S. Our MAG #55 Bella was in no way harmed during the making of this video. However, she decided she's more pretty with brown eyes, so she's had her eyes swapped again.Many thanks for watching!
