Honor View 20 Pret
By —Posted on January 31, 2018 9:15AM PST 01.31.18 - 9:15AM PSTThe is easily one of the best value smartphones released in 2017. But Honor isn’t only about budget phones with plenty of bang-for-your-buck. It’s with the — a phone with flagship specifications as well as mobile artificial intelligence. If you’ve been enviously looking at the great, but can’t stomach the price, we’ll show how this alternative will see fewer dollar bills fly out of your wallet.
Minimal and comfortableWe compare the Honor View 10 to the often in this review, and there’s a reason for this: Honor is a subsidiary to Huawei, and the two companies share technology. Think of Honor as Mini to Huawei’s BMW.
The Honor View 10 is closely related, but design is where the biggest differences are found. Andy Boxall/Digital TrendsThe body is metal with a matte finish, and our review model is in a stealthy black, with concealed antenna bands on the top and bottom of the phone. It also comes in Honor’s trademark blue. We appreciate the minimalist gleam of the Honor View 10, but it’s not a fabulous looking phone. Compared to other flagships — from the Mate 10 Pro to the — it’s faceless. The fingerprint sensor is on the front, leaving the back of the device untouched aside from a pair of protruding camera lenses. If the Honor View 10 was yellow, it would look like a Minion. These camera lenses poke out by a couple of millimeters, and aren’t encased in a OnePlus 5T-style bump.
Groundbreaking horseback combat. Fight on horseback and foot using a vast variety of medieval weapons, each with unique characteristics. You are free to go anywhere in a world with more than a hundred unique locations including villages, castles and towns. Highly advanced and intuitive sword-fighting systems. Mount and blade warband easy money. Free-form sand-box gameplay.
We don’t care for the look at all, and would rather the body was blended around them, instead of sticking out. If the Honor View 10 was yellow, it would look like.Barring this, the Honor View 10 is comfortable to hold and lightweight. It’s only 6.97mm thick, but it does slip about in your hand, even when placed on a flat surface. Plus, the back of the phone can get mucky with fingerprints. You’ll need.Sit the Honor View 10 next to the, and it’s obvious which is the more expensive smartphone. You’ll pay more for it, but if you value aesthetics and a wonderful, expensive in-hand feel, then it’s worth it. If it’s not a massive concern and the price tag matters, then read on.
Flagship performance, slightly smaller bezelsThe Honor View 10 is the second smartphone with the Huawei processor and the Neural Processing Unit inside. The NPU provides on-device artificial intelligence processing, rather than handing all of it off into the cloud.
It’s better for speed, privacy, and performance. The Honor View 10 has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Let’s put it up against the Huawei Mate 10 Pro in a series of benchmark tests. AnTuTu: 176029. Geekbench 4 CPU: Single-core: 1925; multi-core: 6773.
3DMark Sling Shot Extreme: 2,964How close are the scores? Essentially identical to the Mate 10 Pro. Honor’s pulling the same trick as OnePlus, by stuffing the best mobile processor it has access to into a phone that’s cheaper than its rivals.
We like that a lot. The screen gets bright, it’s colorful, and it looks greatAfter running these tests, and also when playing graphically-intensive games, we did notice the body of the Honor View 10 gets quite warm. Not dangerously so, or where it became impossible to hold; but the phone definitely gets hotter than we expected — hotter than the Mate 10 Pro. Regardless, we enjoyed playing games on the Honor View 10, and we experienced no performance problems. This is no surprise, the Kirin 970 makes special use of Android 8.0 Oreo’s gaming prowess to smooth out performance. The Honor View 10 minimizes the bezels around its FullView 6-inch screen, which has an LCD panel rather than an OLED screen. It’s not quite to the degree of the Mate 10 Pro or the. The upper and lower bezels are also slightly larger than the.
While far from oversize, the Honor View 10’s larger bezels are obvious when compared side-by-side with the competition, and evidence of this is clear with Honor retaining the fingerprint sensor on the front of the phone. It still has an 18:9 aspect ratio though, and you can force apps to run in fullscreen to make the most of it.
Huawei Honor View 20
The screen gets bright, it’s colorful, and it looks great — just as we’d expect from Huawei and Honor. A great monochrome cameraThose ugly camera bumps on the rear contain a 16-megapixel RGB lens and a 20-megapixel monochrome lens, a slightly different setup to the. The aperture is f/1.8 with PDAF auto-focusing, a bokeh mode, and the NPU-powered scene and object recognition. The latter changes the camera settings, such as color, contrast, and exposure, without you having to do anything except point the camera in the direction of your subject. There’s no denying the Honor View 10 takes great pictures. But there’s no denying the Honor View 10 takes great pictures, a must-have feature in the race to win title. It’s missing the Leica tuning and color modes found on the Mate 10 Pro, but it’s hard to say the camera is worse for it.
We love the monochrome mode, which does an good job of transforming the mood of a scene, and the versatile bokeh mode, where it’s easy to manipulate the results for the best look in the gallery later on. The Portrait mode operates on the front and the rear camera, plus the editing software is comprehensive, to the point where you don’t really need an additional app.
S 5563 3500. Kg%. 21 Dec 2018I get that the use case of this feature is rather limited (I have never found a worthy subject. I don't think DRAM is that expensive on camera sensors, but in practical terms, it would be inconvenient, as the sensor itself would get thicker, which would definitely not fit in this era of slim-sexy phones. To compensate for this, I think they should add more DRAM, but put it on the motherboard instead, and have it connected to the DRAM of the sensor in order to increase the capacity, but that would take a high-speed data transfer cable, and still may not allow an endless 960fps video capturing. Maybe it would extend the 960fps capture to about 1 minute, which is still better than the measly 0.18s that our current ones could do. Rating 1.
P 4335 4620. 45. 21 Dec 2018Or should I say, frame interpolation technique? Currently, the only ones able to do true 960fp. It's interpolation indeed. And yesh the results aren't anything to write home about.
If it was Google that did this technique though, you would see a much more polished result. Then again, artificial slow motion has only been effectively done by NVIDIA. And you still had nasty artefacts. If those multi-hundred Watts GPUs can barely manage it, forget phones! And yup, we can thank Sony for this! It took Samsung a whole year to do that, but I think they needed a way to do that on their ISOCELL sensors without violating patents so that's why (because dual-sourcing everything except the design, then again with the colours available, you can say the only thing not dual-sourced is the name!)Though just one thought.
Sony rules at sensors and does solid cameras, I personally own a mirorless and it's awesome. Why didn't they do a phone with a variable aperture yet? After the efforts put in Super Slow Motion, carried from their premium full-frame Alpha line, you'd thibk they would already be at this point. It's not like it's particularily expensive either. 21 Dec 2018Don't get too excited. As reported by XDA, companies like Xiaomi cheat on this '960fps'. Or should I say, frame interpolation technique?
Honor View 20 Pretty Little Liars
Currently, the only ones able to do true 960fps Super Slow Mo thanks to its hardware are the IMX 345 found in the GALAXY S9/S9+ and the IMX 400 found in the XPERIA XZs and newer high-end flagships. Sure the HUAWEI P20/P20 PRO are the first HUAWEI smartphones to get 960fps Super Slow Mo, but using the frame interpolation technique makes it disgusting in my opinion. Rating 1. P 4335 4620. 45.
21 Dec 2018Okay bro, honestly speaking, I was just being sarcastic in my comment, and that I absolutely k. I get that the use case of this feature is rather limited (I have never found a worthy subject to capture, it really is it of very limited use outside of advertising).Though one thing I don't get is why individuals are so trigger-happy to sue Apple for every single pretext and yet you don't see a lawsuit about this (Apple lawsuit about screen size not accounting for the rounded corners, you gotta be kidding seriously). Maybe being banned from the US at least has a good side, you are immune to those lawsuits. As for the eDRAM, I think I read that it only uses 128MB of RAM for 960fps in Samsung and Sony phones. And you always see China OEMs pushing more RAM than ever.
Honor View 20 Pret Emag
128MB of RAM isn't what would make this phone more expensive. Unless eDRAM is costlier to implement in cameras.(Though this is different from actual eDRAM as used by the Wii and Intel Iris graphics).

Huawei P20 pro does the interpolated 240fps to 960fps too. My Mate 20 as well, the choppiness is very obvious. But it doesnt affect me at all as i dont use them anyway. Maybe this View 20 will apply DRAM on the new IMX sensor? Maybe not, as its a flagship budget device. If one appreciate the true 960fps so much, no doubt only Sony and Samsung are the choice. S 5563 3500. Kg%. 21 Dec 2018Don't get too excited. As reported by XDA, companies like Xiaomi cheat on this '960fps'. Okay bro, honestly speaking, I was just being sarcastic in my comment, and that I absolutely know about these Chinese brands trying to create artificial 960fps super slow motion clips, but I'm glad that people like you are aware of it.This is just Huawei and Xiaomi cheaping out on their customers, but hey, who are we to judge? Thanks for providing information, and I hope that the netizens here get informed by this.Such liars should never be tolerated, be it a big or small thing, especially when people are paying some serious amount of cash to them. P 4335 4620. 45. 21 Dec 2018Shanti Dope, 21 Dec 2018 This is really great for capturing the fast-spinning blades of a helicopter or a drone!Don't get too excited. As reported by XDA, companies like Xiaomi cheat on this '960fps'. They actually record at 240fps and then extrapolate the missing frames. Very mixed results.Samsung and Sony don't need to do this because they have embedded RAM in the sensor. Though Super Slow Motion on the N8 and the S8 is actually SD at 480fps, still not cheating but you can see the difference.
